"Byzantium and the art of the 20th century"

Every time leaves its own aesthetic character at its works of art. The same is valid for our times. Modern art can use the past to create new forms, overcoming the danger of just imitating it. The comparison, of the schools of modern art and the cultural creation if other times, more specifically, of byzantium, will be  based on the work of artists of the period 1874-1910 (In Europe, Russia and Greece.). Moreover there will be a special report, on the work of Greco an artist with significant influences from byzantine art, who is believed to have been the ‘profit’ of modern art.
