Το Δίκτυο Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης Εξαρχείων-Νεάπολης-Μουσείου καλεί σε ανοικτή εκδήλωση-συζήτηση για το θέμα των κατασχέσεων και πλειστηριαμών κατοικιών καθώς και για το θέμα των εξώσεων το Σάββατο 8/12/12 στις 17.00 στο Θέατρο Εξαρχείων (Θεμιστοκλέους 69).
Στην εκδήλωση θα παρουσιασθούν οι θέσεις μας καθώς και η νομική πλευρά του θέματος (νόμος Κατσέλη, νεώτερες εξελίξεις) από εκπροσώπους της ΕΚΠΟΙΖΩ.

Η κυβέρνηση σε απόλυτη ταύτιση με τα συμφέροντα των τραπεζών σχεδιάζει επίθεση σε κάθε μικροϊδιοκτήτη που χρωστάει σε τράπεζες, ασφαλιστικά ταμεία και εφορία. Με μεθοδεύσεις που παρακάμπτουν και αυτόν τον κουτσό νόμο Κατσέλη προσπαθούν να αρπάξουν κάθε τί που μας ανήκει (σπίτια, καταστήματα, καταθέσεις, μισθούς.) Ταυτόχρονα οι άστεγοι και αυτοί που δεν μπορούν να ανταπεξέλθουν στο κόστος του ενοικίου ολοένα και αυξάνονται. Μπροστά σε αυτή τη θύελλα των κατασχέσεων και των εξώσεων, στη δυστυχία των αστέγων προτάσσουμε την αλληλεγγύη μας και τον αγώνα μας.

An international workshop titled "Crisis regimes and emerging urban social movements in cities of Southern Europe" will take place in Athens from 7th to 9th February 2013. The workshop is organized by Encounter Athens, INURA Athens and the Public Policies and Government Institute of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. It is supported by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of the National Technical University of Athens and it is funded by the Antipode Foundation.

The intention of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for exchanging experiences concerning the impacts of the current crisis in Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish cities and explore alternatives for radical action.

Activists and scholars from Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain who are involved in social movements in their cities or who conduct relevant research have been invited to present their experiences about crisis in the cities of Southern Europe along three workshop themes: a) ultra-neoliberal urban development projects, b) housing in crisis and c) the local as a reference for new mobilizations, solidarity networks and actions. The workshop will also include presentations and discussions about the crisis regimes in South European countries and fieldtrips in Athens. Moreover, Margit Mayer, professor at the Free University of Berlin, and Boaventura de Sousa Santos, professor at the University of Coibra and Distinguished Legal Scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will reflect on the workshop's topics.

Activists, scholars and other interested individuals or groups are welcomed to join the workshop and contribute to the discussions with their experience and comments.

Our goals, in coming to live here on the proposed site of the airport, are many: to live on a protest site, where we can be close to those who’ve been opposing the project for 40 years and to have the power to act when construction happens; to make use of abandoned spaces to learn to live together, to cultivate the land and to be more autonomous from the capitalist system.

Θεματική Περιοχή: For the freedom of movement and settlement for all women and men, more especially for migrants and asylum seekers, victims of human traficking, refugees, indigenous, original, authochtonous, traditional and native people, for minorities, occupied people, and populations experiencing war and conflicts, and for the respect of their civil and political, economic, social, environmental and cultural rights.

Urban Social Forum II Declaration (Naples, Italy, 6th September 2012)

The Forum will open on Thursday 27th September with a public conference on "A town by and for its inhabitants at UniMail and will continue on 28th with the Tribunal of Evictions and the Civil Society Prize at the Maison des Associations. The Forum will close at the Place des Nations after reading the Tribunal of Evictions recommendations and awarding the prizes at the Inhabitants’ March.

Let us strengthen the collective work around rights related to habitat: Towards Rio de Janeiro and Naples, 2012. The articulation of our struggles will be reinforced during the Thematic Social Forum held in Porto Alegre in January 2012 and the People’s Summit Rio+20 in June 2012, where civil society movements and organizations will denounce the worsening environmental crisis and social inequalities.

Μια λέξη με αρχιτεκτονική έννοια (π.χ. υπόγειο, ταράτσα, αποθήκη, σαλόνι) που λειτουργεί σαν αφετηρία και ορίζει την δομή του κάθε επεισοδίου.

Από την κυριολεκτική έννοια της λέξης, που κυριαρχεί στις εικόνες και την προσπάθεια για ένα παιχνίδι με τις διαφορετικές έννοιες της κάθε λέξης, προκύπτουν αφηγήσεις καθημερινών χαρακτήρων που ζουν στην περιοχή, η σχέση τους με αυτήν, οι ιστορίες τους.
